Chad M. Freedman is a founding partner of Ballaga, Freedman & Atkins, LLP. Freedman’s background is in the acquisition, development, sale, financing, leasing and operation of various real estate ventures. He has experience in the creation, conversion and operation of condominiums (residential & office), mixed use projects, hotels, retail centers and residential properties, including the structuring and management of these types of assets. Freedman regularly advises clients on legal and operational issues, conducts meetings among members or directors, negotiates leases and otherwise helps resolve disputes among parties involved in real estate transactions of different types. Freedman also litigates real estate and title insurance disputes, ranging from substantial defalcations and other financial frauds to quiet title actions and enforcement of specific performance remedies. Several landlords, tenants and property owners, both in South Florida and beyond, seek Chad Freedman’s expertise in commercial leasing. Among them include the likes of Agave Holdings, LLC, Banyan Street Capital, LLC, and the Lynd World Company; a collective sample of a few of South Florida’s leading commercial real estate development entities. In addition, Freedman has represented business owners and investors, both domestic and foreign, assisting in the negotiation and closing of a variety of business acquisitions, sales and other investment-based transactions.
